Hi, I’m Harriet, the Microscopy Sales Specialist at Appleton Woods!

I have a PhD from the University of Birmingham, where I investigated the role that bacteria play in the development of gastric cancer.

Throughout my PhD, I gained extensive experience in microscopy and spent many hours preparing and imaging histological and organoid samples using brightfield, phase contrast and multiplex fluorescence microscopy. Because of this, I truly understand the requirements of my customers and the challenges they face, which helps me to support customers not just in choosing the right microscope, but helping with their workflows or troubleshooting issues.
