Can I order online?

Yes, you can order online. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

Do I need to set up an account to order online?

No, you may wish to checkout as a 'guest' if you prefer. However, it will be easier to track orders and view previous orders if you make an account.

Do your prices include VAT?

Prices exclude VAT. VAT will be charged at the standard rate on all goods unless a valid VAT exemption certificate is supplied with the order.

Can my orders be VAT exempt?

Universities and research institutes engaged in medical and veterinary research can claim VAT exemption on the provision that Appleton Woods is sent a VAT exemption form. Annual exemption forms are available on request.

Can you send me an Appleton Woods quotation?

Yes, please contact the sales office on 0121 458 7740 for details or email info@appletonwoods.co.uk. Alternatively, you can submit your request to us using the online quote request form.

How can I get a sample of one of your products?

To request a sample, please contact your local Account Manager.

Can you send me your latest catalogue?

We don't have catalogues but do have offer brochures throughout the year. Please contact our customer support team and we will add you to our mailing list.

What if I need to return an item?

Contact us if you need to discuss returning an item or delivery.

Next day delivery is available (on request) if the order is placed before 2pm (subject to stock availability).

Do your prices include delivery?

No, prices are ex-works and are subject to a delivery charge.

Is your site secure?

The purchase area of our website is secure. Information is protected by SSL with an encryption key length of 168 bits (the highest level commercially available). All sensitive information is automatically encrypted, ensuring your information is kept private and cannot be read in the event that someone else intercepts it. To further safeguard your debit and credit card numbers and your bank account details, the firewall-protected servers do not connect directly to the internet. Is it possible to obtain certificates of analysis?

Yes, if you supply us with the manufacturers’ batch number and the Appleton Woods product code, we can request a copy of the certificate to be sent to you.

Is your environmental policy ISO 14001 accredited?

Appleton Woods’ Environmental Management System has been independently assessed and certified to the requirements of the international standard ISO 14001:2015.

Are you ISO 9001 registered?

Yes, our QMS has been independently assessed and registered since 1993, and currently meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001: 2015.
