Minisart^® NML with surfactant-free cellulose acetate (SFCA) is the best choice for all aqueous solutions and oils with a pH of 4 – 8. Type 17594 with a pore size of 5 µm can be used for particle, rubber grit and cell removal and has a male luer lock outlet. The SFCA membrane is available in many pore sizes and is tightly connected with the housing which allows bidirectional use. This, combined with the very low non-specific binding characteristics, makes it a perfect choice for biomolecule solutions.
