New Product Launch – Appleton Woods Partners with Capricorn Scientific

Appleton Woods Ltd is delighted to announce that it has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with Capricorn Scientific to supply their complete reagent product range to the UK Market.

Capricorn Scientific is a newly established company set up in 2013 which specialises in the manufacture of cell culture media, sera and reagents for R&D, diagnostic and biotech applications.

Capricorn Scientific is in the process of expanding their state-of-the-art cell culture manufacturing plant in Ebsdorfergrund, near Frankfurt, Germany. The plant expansion will house a 1400 m² clean room environment and quality laboratories. This will enable them to increase their capacity of manufacture significantly to cope with the increase in demand for their cell culture products.

Appleton Woods will be supplying the complete portfolio of products and will stock a large proportion on the range in our Birmingham warehouse – this will mean quick deliveries to our customers and eliminate border delays which we know some other suppliers are experiencing when receiving goods from abroad.
