Coronavirus Statement – Update 06/05/2020

Despite a much reduced team at New Lindon House, and other staff working from home, Appleton Woods is continuing to operate as near normal as possible.

Many customers have put in place centralised and time-limited goods receipting facilities at the moment, but using our own delivery vans we are able to accommodate these restrictions. We are also utilising next day carrier deliveries to ensure customers receive goods as soon as possible.

The supply of products used for work related to Covid-19 is becoming more difficult, so please contact us to check availability if delivery time is critical.  We are now also seeing price increases on some product lines as the cost of doing business during the crisis is under pressure throughout the supply chain.

We have good stocks of other items, the products we normally supply, and are beginning to engage with customers who are planning a return to the lab.  You can avoid the worry and disruption of potential long lead times by ordering essential items now, and we will hold products until you’re ready to receive delivery.

We would like to thank our customers for their support, and of course the tremendous work they do in looking after us in the NHS, carrying out testing, working on a possible vaccine or other covid-19 related work.
