Manufactured from Pyrex borosilicate glass, these products have excellent thermal performance and high resistance to chemical attack.

NO MORE TINFOIL!...Introducing a new range of storage solutions for the protection of photosensitive samples and reagents. Unlike amber tinted tubes, these products are completely opaque therefore protecting even the most light sensitive compounds. The entire range is autoclavable and includes storage boxes, 0.5 and 1.5ml centrifuge tubes, a unique 5ml preparaton tube as well as standard 15 and 50ml conical centrifuge tubes.

As serological pipettes are often used during the analysis of of blood and blood products it is important that the polymer used in the manufacture of the product does not have a detrimental effect during such tests. The Sterilin range of serological pipettes are now validated non haemolytic in accordance with BS EN ISO10993-4:2002 Biological evaluation of Medical Devices. In addition, Sterilin pipettes are now certified 'non-pyrogenic' to a level of 0.01EU/ml (previously 0.25EU/ml).

Sterilin containers are already assured leak-free according to EN14254 Annex D. In addition, 30ml and 60ml containers are now certified to withstand the 95kpa pressure differential to further endorse their suitability for sample transportation.
