Corning have introduced a new high performance vacuum filter with square filter membrane support system that increases filtration rates. In addition, an improved, higher capacity Polyethersulfone (PES) membrane maximises filter throughput. Together, the new square filter supports with the improved PES membranes increase filtering performance by up to 44% depending on the filter funnel size.

Appleton Woods introduces the new slim line glass washer from Miele The G7893 is the first 60cm wide washer-disinfector on the market with true HEPA-filtered forced-air drying, making it ideal for laboratories where space is limited.

This compact, front-loading glass washer easily fits under a standard laboratory bench and can wash and dry glassware within about an hour. The HEPA drying system provides a faster, more complete drying result than gravity convection drying found in many glass washers.
