 | Axygen Magnetic Separation Beads now Available
January 2012
Appleton Woods is now a UK distributor of Axygen's new range of magnetic bead-based separation kits for use in Sanger and Next Generation sequencing as well as other downstream applications.
These unique paramagnetic bead purification systems allow you to streamline your Next Gen sequencing prep AND achieve higher, more purified yields of DNA. This exciting new range includes PCR clean up kits, DyeClean, Fragment Select kits and PCR Normaliser kits.

 | New & Improved Universals from Sterilin

Sterilin have launched a new range of 30ml Universal containers with improved cap.The 'QuickStart' cap is based on a three start thread and only requires a 3/4 turn to open. This not only allows for easier and quicker handling but also reduces the risk of repetitive stress injury (RSI) from handling large numbers of containers. The new multi-seal cap has been independently validated and gives unrivalled leak-free performance.

 | Sterilin Launch Primary Urine Collection Tubes for Easier and More Efficient Urinalysis

With the increase in adoption of automated urine screening, Sterilin now offers a range of CE marked 95kPa compliant primary urine collection tubes, available either empty or pre-dosed with boric acid preservative, which fit perfectly into the racks of automated urinalysis systems.
